1. Overview

The ICD TZ Settings module in ERPNext is designed to manage core configuration settings related to inland container depot (ICD) operations. It allows users to set up pricing, service items, storage charges, corridor levies, and other operational parameters to ensure smooth and efficient workflow management.

3. Pre-Requisites

4. Step-by-Step Usage

Step 1: Configure the Default Price List

• Navigate to ICD TZ Settings under the ICD Module.
• Select the Default Price List (Standard Selling or any other defined price list).

Step 2: Configure Service Items

• Assign specific Items for Transport, Removal, Corridor Levy, and Custom Verification.
• Add Shore Handling Items for different container sizes (20ft, 40ft, etc.).

Step 3: Define Container Storage Charges

• Navigate to No of Days for Container Storage Charges section.
• Enter different Storage Days categories based on container types.
• Configure Single and Double storage fees for 20ft and 40ft containers.
• Define storage charges based on destination and duration using the ICD TZ Settings Detail table.
  • Place of Destination: Specifies the location.
  • Charge: Select Free, Single, or Double.
  • From & To: Defines the number of days the charge applies.

Step 4: Manage Corridor Levy Countries

• Navigate to Corridor Levy Countries Section.
• Add or remove eligible countries required to pay corridor levies.

Step 5: Enable Signature Validation (Optional)

• Toggle the Enable Signature Validation checkbox to require digital signatures for validation.

Step 6: Validate Storage Days Before Saving

• When saving, the system will check for duplicate Destination and Charge entries.
• If a duplicate is found, an error message will indicate the conflicting row.
• Ensure unique destination and charge values before saving.

Step 7: Save and Verify

• Ensure all configurations are correctly filled.
• Click Save to apply changes.
• Verify settings in the list view.
