Part and Consumable Item Group

Overview

The "Part and Consumable Item Group" doctype allows you to categorize and manage item groups for parts and consumables within the Service Management module.

Fields

1. Item Group

• Label: Item Group

• Usage:

  • Select the item group for parts and consumables.
  • This field will display the list of available item groups.
  • Example: "Electrical Parts", "Plumbing Supplies", "Maintenance Tools"

Usage

1. Navigate to the "Service Management" module.
2. Select "Part and Consumable Item Group" from the list of available doctypes.
3. Click on "New" to create a new item group.
4. Select the appropriate "Item Group" from the list.
5. Save the record.
6. You can view, edit, or delete the item groups as needed.

Notes

• Use the "Item Group" field to categorize parts and consumables.
• Select the appropriate group that best fits the type of parts or consumables.
• This helps in organizing and managing inventory effectively.
