Pre Inspection Item
Overview
The "Pre Inspection Item" doctype allows you to define and manage pre-inspection items within the Service Management module.
Fields
1. Inspection Item

- Enter the name or description of the pre-inspection item.
- This field helps identify the specific item to be inspected.
- Example: "Brake Pads", "Tire Pressure", "Fluid Levels"
2. Inspection Type

Usage:
- Select the type of inspection for the item: "Check" or "Data".
- Helps categorize the nature of the inspection required.
- Example: "Check" for visual inspection, "Data" for recording specific measurements.
3. Option

- Enter any additional details or options related to the inspection item.
- This field can include notes, specific instructions, or choices.
- Example: "Replace if below 2mm", "Check every 5,000 miles", "Fill to recommended level"
Usage
- Navigate to the "Service Management" module.
- Select "Pre Inspection Item" from the list of available doctypes.
- Click on "New" to create a new pre-inspection item.
- Enter the "Inspection Item" name or description.
- Select the "Inspection Type" based on the nature of the inspection required.
- Provide any relevant details or options in the "Option" field.
- Save the record.
- You can view, edit, or delete the pre-inspection items as needed.
Notes
- Use the "Inspection Item" field to describe the item or component to be inspected.
- The "Inspection Type" field categorizes whether the inspection is a "Check" or requires specific "Data" recording.
- Additional details or options related to the inspection can be added in the "Option" field.
