**1. Introduction**

The **Unit Type** form is part of the **Property Management Solution** module within the ERP system. It is used to define various types of units (e.g., apartments, offices, retail spaces) within properties. By defining unit types, property managers can effeciently categorize and manage the different kinds of spaces available within their properties. 


**2. Accessing the Unit Type Form**

To access the **Unit Type** form:

**Home**> **Property Management Solution** > **Unit Type**

Once selected, you can create a new unit type or view and manage existing unit types. 



**3. Field Descriptions**

Below is the description of the field avilable in the **Unit Type** form:

* **Unit Type:**

This field captures the name of the unit type (e.g.,"Apartment", "Office"). The field value must be unique as it used to auto-generate the name for the document. 



**4. Creating and Managing Unit Types**

To create a new **Unit Type:**

1. Click on the **New** button in the **Unit Type** screen. 

2. **Unit Type:** Enter a unique name for the unit type (e.g., Apartment, Office, Retail Space).

3. Once all required fields are filled, click **Save** to store the unit type. 

This process ensures that you unique unit types defined, which can be referenced accross various forms related to property management, such as lease agreements or tenant assignments.
