Healthcare Insurance Subscription

This is a document used to register the insurance details used by the Patient in the system.

It contains details of the Patient, Insurance Company name, Healthcare Insurance Coverage Plan, Subscription End details and Coverage Plan Card Number.

Note: Healthcare Insurance Subscription is created Automatically for NHIF insurance only. For other insurances, it should manually get created.

Creating Healthcare Insurance Subscription (HIS)

1. Go to Healthcare Insurance Subscription List, click on Add Healthcare Insurance Subscription.
2. Enter the Patient Name, this will bring Patient Name, mobile number and his or her Gender.
3. Choose the Insurance Company Name and its Coverage Plan, then add the Coverage Plan Card Number.
4. You can also add the daily limit and Subscription End Date, but its optional.
5. Click on Save, then Submit.

Note: If the Healthcare Insurance Subscription already exists from before, then it should not be created every time when a Patient visits the Hospital, unless when a Patient wants to use another Insurance card or another Coverage Plan then another HIS is supposed to be added.
