Property Status

Introduction

The Property Status report in the Property Management Solution is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the properties, their owners, lease details, and associated financials. It helps users track the status of properties and their leases, making it easier to manage rental properties efficiently.

1. Purpose of the Property Status Report

The Property Status report helps users:

  • Track property ownership: View the type of property, the owner, and the tenant.

  • Monitor lease details: Get information on the lease agreements, including the tenant, lease status, and lease end date.

  • Understand property financials: See details like security deposits and lease amounts associated with the property.

  • Group properties by type and ownership: Filter and categorize properties based on property type and owner type.

  • This report is useful for property managers and administrators responsible for managing properties, leases, and tenant relations.

2. Key Fields in the Report

The Property Status report includes the following columns:

Property:

  • Description: The name or identifier of the property.

Property Type:

  • Description: The type of the property (e.g., Residential, Commercial).

BHK (Bedroom Hall Kitchen):

  • Description: The number of bedrooms in the property.

Builtup Area:

  • Description: The built-up area of the property in square feet.

Carpet Area:

  • Description: The carpet area of the property in square feet.

Unit Owner:

  • Description: The name of the person or entity that owns the property.

Owner Type:

  • Description: The type of owner, as categorized by the customer group (e.g., Individual, Company).

Customer (Tenant):

  • Description: The name of the tenant leasing the property.

End Date:

  • Description: The date the lease is scheduled to end.

Status:

  • Description: The status of the lease (e.g., Active, Expired).

Lease:

  • Description: The reference to the lease document for the property.

Currency:

  • Description: The currency in which the security deposit is held.

Amount:

  • Description: The amount of the security deposit.

Security Status:

  • Description: The current status of the security deposit.

Lease Details:

  • Description: A detailed breakdown of the lease, including the lease items and their associated amounts.

3. Report Filters

The Property Status report includes the following filters to refine the data:

Property Type:

  • Options: Unit Type

  • Description: Filter the report based on the type of the property (e.g., Residential, Commercial).

Owner Type:

  • Options: Customer Group

  • Description: Filter the report based on the type of owner (e.g., Individual, Company).

Usage

Generating the Report

  • Navigate to the Property Status report within the Property Management Solution module.

  • Select the Property Type: Choose a specific property type to filter the results (e.g., Residential, Commercial).

  • Select the Owner Type: Choose a specific owner type (e.g., Individual, Company) to filter the report.

  • Click "Run" to generate the report based on the selected filters.
