Unit Assets

1. Introduction

The Unit Assets form is a child table that is part of the Property Management Solution module within the ERP system. It is used to manage and track assets that belong to or are associated with specific units (e.g., apartments, offices) within a property. This form helps users organize and monitor the assets assigned to various units, including the option to specify whether they are maintainable.

2. Accessing the Unit Assests Form

The Unit Assets form is typically embedded as a child table within other forms, such as unit or property forms, where users can define and manage assets for each unit. To access it:

  1. Open the parent form (e.g., Unit or Property form) within the Property Management Solution module.

  2. Scroll to the section where the Unit Assets table is located.

  3. You will see the Unit Assets table, where you can add or view assets for the selected unit.

3. Field Descriptions

Below are the fields availabale in the Unit Assets form:

  • Asset:

This field captures the name of the asset associated with the unit (e.g., AC unit, Washing Machine). The asset must be selected from the existing Asset records in the system.

  • Maintenanble

A checkbox that indicates whether the asset is maintainable (i.e., requires regular maintenance). When checked, it shows that the asset should be considered for upkeep and repairs.

4. Creating and Managing Unit Assets

To add or manage assts in the Unit Assets table:

  1. Add a New Row:

Select the Asset from the dropdown list. The available options will be pulled from the existing Asset document in the system.

  1. Maintenable:

If the asset requires maintenance, check the Maintenable box to indicate that it should be tracked for future maintenance.

  1. Save the Form:

Once all the details are filled in the for the assets, click Save to store the information. This links the asset to the unit for the future references and maintenance planning.
