Subscription Service Report
1. Introduction
The Subscription Service Report is a Query Report that helps track and display information about subscriptions or services provided to customers. This report is specifically useful in the context of services offered for a defined period, such as gym services, maintenance services, or other similar offerings, where an invoice records the start and end dates of the service.
2. Report Filters
This report allows filtering based on the following criteria:
Service Type:
A required field that allows the user to select the type of service they want to view subscriptions for. It restricts the service type to items that belong to the Services item group through a custom query.
To Date:
This required field allows the user to specify the end date for the report, limiting the data to subscriptions active on or before the specified date.
3. Functionality
The report is designed to provide a comprehensive list of service subscriptions for a given service type within a specific time frame. For example, if a user wants to view all active Gym services as of today, the report will fetch the relevant subscription data, including the customer name and the period of the service.
4. Use Case
This report is useful for tracking recurring or periodic services provided by a company. It allows management to:
Monitor which customers have active subscriptions.
Identify service periods (start and end dates).
