Background

Occasionally, TRA experiences server issues where, despite successfully receiving and acknowledging an invoice request, their internal systems fail to process the data further. This results in the invoice not being fully registered within the TRA system. To address this issue, a functionality called "Update VFD Status" has been introduced for invoices that have not been successfully registered.

  • Issue: TRA receives and acknowledges the invoice request as successful but fails to process the data within their systems.
  • Impact: The invoice remains unregistered in the TRA system despite showing as successfully sent.

Resolution Process

  1. Button: "Update VFD Status"

    • A dedicated button labeled "Update VFD Status" is available in the system.
    • This button is designed to reset the status of an invoice and resend it to TRA.
  2. Action Timeline

    • Customers are required to report any invoice registration issues within 72 hours of issuing the invoice.
    • Timely reporting ensures the status can be reset and the invoice resent to TRA for successful processing.
  3. TRA Requirement

    • TRA has instructed that for any invoice not reaching their systems, businesses should continue resending the invoice until it is successfully registered.
