Tool Item
1. Introduction
The Tool Item form is part of the Property Management Solution module within the ERP system. It is designed to manage and track tools associated with properties or units. This form allows users to document tool items, identify their active status, and ange them effectively in an organized manner.
2. Accessing the Tool Item Form
To access the Tool Item form:
Home >> Property Management Solution >> Tool Item
Once selected, you can create a new tool item or view and manage existing tool items.
3. Field Descriptions
Here are the fields available in the Tool Item form:
- Tool Item Number:
This field stores the unique number assigned to each tool item. It serves as the primary identifier for the tool.
- Status Active:
Indicattes whether the tool item is currently active (i.e., in use). Checked for active tools and unchecked for inactive or retired tools.
4. Creating and Managing Tool Items
To create a new Tool Item:
Click on the New button in the Tool Item screen.
Tool Item Number: Enter a unique number for the tool item (e.g., "T-12345"). This field is required and must be unique.
Status Active: Check the box if the tool is currently active and in use. Leave it unchecked if the tool is inactive or retired.
Once the necessary fields are filled, click Save to store the tool item.
You can manage too items by updating their Status Active field as their usage status changes over time (eg., a tool can be marked inactive when its is no longer in service).
